These days just about anyone can get started recording music at home.
There are only five things that I think are absolutely necessary to get
started with recording and mixing high quality music in your own “home studio.”
#1 A Good Computer
Your computer will be the basis of your studio so it’s important to have a
computer that can handle the job (it can be quite taxing to run all of these
modern audio programs.)
You need to get a computer with a minimum of 4 GB of RAM (more is better.)
I also recommend avoiding Vista based computers (my Vista experience was
a nightmare.)
#2 Audio Interface
These are getting less expensive every year. I remember back in 2001 it
was hard to get a decent audio interface for less than $750. Now you can
get one for $200.
This is a very important part of your studio because it’s the thing in between
your instruments & microphones and your computer. Unless you plan on
buying (or already have) seperate preamps, you need to make sure you
get an audio interface with a preamp (if you plan on doing any acoustic
recording, that is.)
#3 A Condenser Microphone
A quality condenser microphone is essential for recording vocals and acoustic guitars. Like the other items on this list, they’ve become a lot more affordable
over the course of this decade.
#4 Monitors
It’s important to listen to your music with a “flat response” when you’re doing
your mixing. You don’t want speakers that make everything sound “good.”
You want monitors that reveal any flaws that may be in your mix so that
you can fix them.
#5 Recording Software
There are a variety of different software programs available, most of them
have free demos so you can try them out and see which one works best for you.

Having established a good relationship or good under-
standing with someone or with a company is sweet music.
I had my change to do so recently when two movies from
MoviesCapital failed to download. So, I contacted their
tech support with a message implying that I hate negative
blogging after being ignored.
Well, it didn’t take them long to respond. First I got an
immediate email response acknowledging my message.

server that has that file and you will not get the error.

next few days this problem will be gone.

Piano fingering is as important as footwork in a dance routine! Using the right finger on the right note enables you to play smoothly and evenly. If your fingering is wrong, you will either run out of fingers in a tune, or it will just feel awkward. Here are some tips on piano fingering.
The finger numbers are identical in each hand. The thumb is 1, the index finger is 2, the middle finger is 3, your “ring” finger is 4 your pinky finger is 5.
Try out this simple 5 finger exercise on the piano.
In the right hand place your 5 fingers on any adjacent white keys and play this pattern -
1 2 3 4 5 4 3 2 1. This starts and ends with the thumb. The sound will rise then fall.
Now place your left on 5 adjacent keys and play this pattern -
5 4 3 2 1 2 3 4 5. This starts and ends with your pinky finger. The sound will again rise and fall.
Fingering is written above or below a specific note in piano sheet music. The fingering is written in for the first note in both your left hand and right hand notes. When you see the fingering attached to a particular note make sure that you use that finger. It sounds obvious, but it is a common problem that people have when they are learning to play the piano – they ignore the finger numbers!
Our wonderful opposable thumbs enable us to move around the piano smoothly. The thumb is used as a pivot and a lever to move the hand up and down the keys.
Find C (the white key to the left of any 2 black keys) and place your right hand thumb on it.
Try out this exercise using the notes – C D C B C D C B C. You are only allowed to use 2 fingers!
Play C D C B C D C B C using the fingering 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1. You pivot your index finger (finger 2) over and back, over and back.
